Eye Waist Sew Much Thyme is a spiritual successor to iwastesomuchtime.com, a calm, friendly corner of the internet for people who want a tiny (but not too much) piece of chaos in their day. The original posted a meme about once an hour, usually funny, sometimes timely and almost always wholesome, and it grew a kind community and a pocket of loyal readers.

On 12 October 2026, @Gal, the original site’s admin, posted and then went quiet; her posts had slowed in the days before. @NC, a longtime community member and a professional web developer, didn’t want the site to just fade away, so he is building this one from scratch as a stand-in, not a replacement.

The first hope is that iwastesomuchtime.com is fine, Gal comes back, and this turns out to be a blip we remember for a short time and then forget. If that happens, a banner at the top of this site will send everyone back there. If it doesn’t, the next hope is to acquire iwastesomuchtime.com and carry on there.

The original was a WordPress site; this one is built from the ground up. First come the features everyone enjoyed about the original. If Gal still isn’t back after that, features NC has wanted for a long time come next, and a feature request page will follow once the basics are solid.
